Part 2

We arrived this afternoon in the land of Tifton, Ga. The last 3 days we were in Waycross/Blackshear. We did many a good things. Visited a number of people that I worked with and helped re-enter the church and a few that I introduced the church to. Also managed to escape the clutches of a LARGE MALE GATOR and not even drop my cell phone or camera in the swamp water, which turns out to be fresh water I could have drank if I had gotten lost. So sit back and look at my journey's via picture show.

PS: I am so sorry if any names are spelled wrong, I am just getting back into that "southern life" and love every moment of it.

Just some rain, mom was in control of my camera at this time.

The crazy Smith family...(left to right) Carter, my mom, me, Niki, Eric, Scotty and Brett

Another favorite family.. The Knowltons: Jason, Garrette, Jessica, Brady and in the front Duely. I'm not in this one due to me setting it up but the dog was only in this one so it works for the blog.

Griffin family. We stayed with them and they were the best. (left to right) Tricia, Kara, Kevis, Tate. I can't use enough words to tell y'all out there reading this how wonderful they all are.

I just loved this shot. See I guess I could be a funeral person and a photographer!

I finally got Heather her angel wings. Turns out they were well deserved. I have a cool story about Heather. Heck it may even include the story of 'POW! like popcorn.'

How we loved DeDe's Doughnuts

Oh so Y'all know how I HATE doughnuts? Well Charlie and Jason told us we had to check this place out and I can now tell you I eat doughnuts, however only from here.

Most amazing conversion part member that I was part of and to get the whole story you'll just have to ask. Let's just say Delbert is rockin!

This sits outside Delbert and Janice's house. I love there property. Charlie tells THE BEST story involving this land/house/castle of collections

We may not look to be that focused in this moment, but then again would you be if you had swarms of half dollar sized mosquitos and gnats flying all around? Didn't think so, and I am not lying about the size of the mosquitos.

Sister Gloria Gowen: Queen of Dry Humor and Sarcasm, trust me

The Passion Flower from Gloria's property.

This guy totally told my mom she had pretty eyes! I'm sure they would make the best swamp couple. LOL

Yup, them there are REAL lilly pads

We spotted the violent swamp creature known as huminous-car-vorus, (human eater) but we managed to escape.

Yeah that gator really wanted us to leave, he hissed and he was BIG!!

Just trotten down this plush/lush swamp

Read the sign

There is this killer dirt road that has the most amazing drive in Blackshear, last year there was Tobacco being farmed but this year is corn.

I freakn love these two and their family! They have twin girls who were at a VBS (Vacation Bible School for those who are behind the times and lame) and the triplets were sent to bed by this time. Let me just tell you that streaking is still the sport along with "hide in the computer cabinet" for the triplets. I don't know how Charlie and Jessica do it but they do it well!

Can it get better than this out west? Uh that would be a HECK NO!

This is a picture of downtown Waycross. I love how this whole time it has rained so far and the only other time I rode my missionary bike across this very intersection we were fleeing the rain storm. Good times.

Some confederate solder statue and his "big gun," I could be a better narrator but then again you think I'm gonna right down what the plaque says? Yeah I don't think so, maybe you should come visit to read it your self.

Do you have any idea how insanely jealous I am of you right now? That close to a gator who was going to eat you. We all know this is my sick fantasy. Not that it would eat me, just get terrifyingly close. And it's true- after visiting Georgia I have decided I'm going to do everything in my power to move down there. And not just to be almost eaten by a gator. But for now I'm stuck in Rexburg again.
