As you may have noticed from the subject this is only Part 1 in a series of blog postings that will happen nightly until I have shared the adventures from this last weekend. Too much went on that I can skip. There were dancing grownups (I'm still laughing every time I review the video's I took which I will post for you to see,) art college instructors with extreme B.I.F. issues (Butt In Front) and much more.
To start off this recap we began Friday by heading to a Las Vegas Wranglers game. It was my first Hockey game and I am now ready for another helping of sticks and ice! It was a grand time. There just needed to be more violence! I wanted to see blood and ref's breaking up fights.
But alas it was a rather clean game. Vegas won the game and all was good. During the game Annie invited us to play a game called, "Spot the Most Mullets." Well let's just say I won by spotting the only mullet we could find...
I also spotted this girl after Vegas made their first point. She was jumping up and down and shouting. However let us not forget that she too managed to start crying like it was the most exciting thing she had ever witnessed, it was great!
Nicole managed to find a guy to crush on and find to be in my words for her "man of her caliber." Don't tell her I called it that. LOL Here is a pic of them sitting together during the last period of the game. Oh and she only started talking to him after Annie went and told him she "digged" him and he came up to sit by Nicole as a birthday gift.
So we left for this Irish Pub and the guys came with us. So instead of it being Nicole's brother and his girl friend, Nicole, Annie and myself you add in the mix Mike, and Brad. The Irish pub was alot of fun and tasty. However I had to discontinue my use of their ketchup as it smelled and tasted as though the Heinz Company supplies them with Beer laced ketchup. In my defence I only sampled it twice and had someone else try it just to make sure. I still can't believe it. Also I managed to sneak a picture of Nicole and the guy Brad. (On a side note he was way chill and would be perfect for her, to bad he lived in Chico Hills, CA)
So we get ready to leave and the turn changing event that led up to plan changes for the weekend stuck us. Nicole couldn't find her wallet. We searched all over, going back to the casino, searching lost and found, speaking to security that night and Saturday morning and also re-searching the Irish Pub. But to no luck she lost it all. Credit cards, debit card, SOCIAL SECURITY, and all the left over cash from her two week vacation. It was a bummer. BUT it did not ruin the trip. I have many more adventures to share and will be back tomorrow to share the next one involving the Art Institute Open House and Nicole dressing me fancy like.
Till later...

Gawdun, I got to watch a pre-Olympic game back in 2002 and it was awesome! That is where I learned to love hockey and mullets (they go hand-in-hand). During the game a hockey puck flew up really high (over the 50 foot protective glass) and hit a woman in the head! It was classy.
Ya'll must have been having a great time, look at those beautiful smiles!
Hockey games are a blast. We use to get season tickets in Arizona and go every week. One of the last games I went to, I get hit the chest with a FROZEN Ice Puck! Let me say it didn't feel great, but I went back becuase it was great to watch the games. So yea, I have a real hockey puck!!! Can't wait to see the rest of your trip. PS~ Next time you are out here, we need to hire you to take some pictures. Have a great day!!
